I grew up working on cars with my father, as a young boy I would watch him hand wash and polish his car for hours, not resting until he had accomplished that immaculate shine. Over the years I have seen the popularity of drive through car washes rise and decline, ushering in the pit stop hand car wash businesses that we find on every corner throughout England.  

While working at a car wash, I saw first hand that their main concern was, to get as many cars in and out as possible. The old and dirty cloths were re-used, many times they were not rinsed out before being used on the next car.
